Nobody can touch Linval Thompson in his roots prime. In the late 70's Linval was making tons of tunes while simultaneously producing songs for Dennis Brown, Freddie McGregor, Trinity, Dillinger, Barrington Levy among others. He also helped bridge the transition from roots to dancehall with his protege' Henry "Junjo" Lawes.
All that side Linval Thompson is one of the best roots artists you'll ever hear.
