Ahh hellz yeah dog.

Shit is four twenty for realz today.

Bust out some sick danky stanky nuggets broskeee!

Gettin all kinds of chinese eyed today dudes.

Moving on...

I wish I could participate in the "sesh" today with all of my friends, but sadly I can't puff tough anymore. I get "too high" a phrase I don't think many of you understand.

But yeah, I just get freaked out and end up splashing water on my face and telling myself to stop being a gaywad.

That does not mean you guys shouldn't go for it though.

Get some!!!

Bonus Youtube Comment:

"killakev0491: every last person in the world should go outside there homes and smoke fat ass blunt's so we could hot box the O-zone layer, so everyone could get high. -Kevin-"

Hot box the ozone layer? For real Killa Kev? Thefuckouttahere!

Linval Thompson

I've posted this one before, but it is one of my favorite roots long players and it is worth grabbing.

Linval Thompson is pretty slept on considering how much great music he has made.

Eek A Mouse

Besides being a total a-hole Eek A Mouse makes good music or more importantly made good music. His impact on modern deejay style can not be denied regardless of how looney dude is off stage.

Also how is it I can't talk to one of my friend's about Eek A Mouse without getting some sketchy story that involves one of the following: cocaine, Oceanside, shady apartment complex, underage girls?

Track Listing:

Sensee Party
Looking Sexy
Modelling Queen
You Na Love Reggae Music
Always On My Mind
Do You Remember
Skidip
Na Make Mi Girl Go Away
Fat And Slim
Where Is My Baby

This actually might be his best long player. It's all rub a dub and doesn't actually have any digital tunes at all.

Production by Linval Thompson, Channel One Studios, Radics.

Ranking Dread

Ranking Dread comes from the same school of style as Dillinger, Clint Eastwood, and Trinity. I remember hearing that they called their style of chat "kung fu style". Not really sure what the hell that means, but they are all some of my favorite deejays even though they sound similar.

This album is actually all roots with a little bit of dub to it. I think RD does fine over roots, but he really gets going on some of the faster riddims that he did with Sugar Minott a few years later.

This is one of my favorite tunes ever which is off his "Lots of Loving" LP.

Track List:

God Blessed Children
Natty Dread Is A Struggler
Poor Man
Girls Fiesta
Africa
Natty On The Rock
Sister Lorna
Kilburn Lane
Marijuana Soul
Ranking Ting

Run it p*ssy clot!!!

Linval Thompson

Nobody can touch Linval Thompson in his roots prime. In the late 70's Linval was making tons of tunes while simultaneously producing songs for Dennis Brown, Freddie McGregor, Trinity, Dillinger, Barrington Levy among others. He also helped bridge the transition from roots to dancehall with his protege' Henry "Junjo" Lawes.

All that side Linval Thompson is one of the best roots artists you'll ever hear.

The cover above is the album I posted, but it is essentially the same playlist as "Don't Cut Off Your Dreadlocks" with exception of an extra dub or two.

Original cover.
