Actual Pain

Actual Pain just dropped a really strong Spring tee/fleece line.

I think this is their best offering to date.

Some personal favorites: Chain Mail, Chingon, Poser Blood, and War God Hatchet.

Check out the web store if you can't get them at your local shop.

Going Corporate

You know you've finally made it when you get your company's name on a ball point pen in the mail.

I mean how many brands do you know have that going for them?

No, no think it over..... I'll wait.

Thought so.

Ghost Show Pictures

Here's some flicks from Ghost's show at The BLVD Gallery. Ever since those d*cks at Alaska Airlines stole my camera out of my check-in bag for blow money I have been sans a digital camera. It bums me out to no end. The things I see on a daily basis could fill up these digital pages to the brim, but without the photos for the visual it would be pointless.

So I borrowed a camera for the night and only snapped a few shoddy flicks.

Above: After he got done skating he went and put the moves on this pretty young thing

He got bored of making out with her (not joking) so he decided to mess with the Pubs and friends through the window

Above: More of Cousin Frank's pieces

As far as shows go this one was my favorite since moving to Seattle. I like big canvases, pieces, etc and this show had a lot of them. I even copped a piece for myself (not pictured) which is only the second piece of original artwork I've ever purchased if that means anything. Skate decks and prints don't count folks.

Once Bitten

If there is anyone I know that has had their designs accosted, ripped off, flat out stolen and just plane raped it would have to be one Justin Patrick Anthony Fabian Atallian.

I'm not going to name off any of the brands that have jacked him because they know who they are, but ironically they are not the sole perpetrators as you can see above.

Above: The original design

The design in question is one of Justin's more iconic designs and probably the most recognizable tee shirt design to come out of SD in the last five years. The "SD Crown" is now a "kick ass" swap meet, boot-legged, window decal on some dudes' truck.

Nice.

Add another person to The List.

Pigs Are Dumb

Police in the Australian city of Brisbane were left stranded and embarrassed after a handcuffed suspect drove off in their patrol car.

The two officers had arrested 29-year-old Mark Robert Nolan in connection with a series of burglaries.

They put him in their unmarked vehicle and went round the back to look for some further evidence.

Mr Nolan waited until they had gone, climbed into the driver's seat, started the engine and drove off.

Queensland Police Deputy Commissioner Ian Stewart said that the two officers had been investigating the contents of a bag in Mr Nolan's possession.

"During that time, it appears Nolan has got into the front of the police car and turned the police car on and driven off," he said.

Mr Nolan had been handcuffed with his hands in front of his body, he said.

The car was later found but Mr Nolan was nowhere to be seen.

Queensland police promised a "thorough investigation" into what happened.

Banksy

Banksy apparently set-up 3 stories of scaffolding, painted the roller letters, and the stencil characters, broke it down, and walked away, all in plane sight of a cctv camera.

The dude definitely knows how to get his message across.
