King Dude

My buddy TJ has a side project called King Dude.

TJ sort of personifies the D.I.Y ethos of Seattle a little too much.

He has an amazing line Actual Pain a very popular black metal band Book Of Black Earth and the dude can draw like a champ.

All that aside King Dude might just be my favorite thing he has done musically. I'm not huge on black metal so I can't really play BOBE records regardless of how good they are because I just don't really listen to black metal.

King Dude though I can play non stop. It sort of has a Leonard Cohen meets the occult type vibe and that my friends is something worth listening to.

Catsploitation Show Feb 5th

Alex Lacao's CATSPLOITATION from PHEED on Vimeo.

Baby Al has another show this time at Moksha on the ave on February 5th from 8 - 11pm.

All joking aside even if I didn't know the wreck that is Alex I would still post his art up here. All analog homie. No dip dibby digital ting in here. Dude's portfolio consists entirely of construction paper and glue sticks.

Shot and cut by Pheed.

Poor Life Choices

I almost forgot to mention the PLC in my new additions to SDTW post. For those outside of Seattle it may not hold the same importance, but it is still a good hoot even if you don't know the criminals/victims/perpetrators in the pictures.

Poor Life Choices is the brainchild of Phillip Pheed. Pheed's other blog is mostly about eating food and design/video projects he does, but PLC is a whole other beast.

We all make Poor Life Choices, but to see them documented back to back, day in and day out, is really eye opening.

On PLC you will see unedited debauchery in all it's finest. I pray to whatever god you believe in that I do not end up on the site because it will probably mean that I will be serving time in County.

For those who dare bookmark PLC:

New Heavy Manners Tee Available

It's been a long time since we dropped some new product. The last being the
"About Fucking Time" tee for Street Machine.

Anyone on the other side of the counter or cloth can tell you why.

Money.

Unfortunately money does make the world go round and when you no one has any of it companies, businesses, brands, and shops start to fade away. Don't be surprised to see a lot of stores and brands drop off the face of the planet in the next coming months.

Personally, I'm glad in some ways. The saturation in our particular industry is ridiculous and it is time for Darwin's Law to take effect. Heavy Manners is nothing more than a glorified hobby for myself and my partner. Don't expect any "collections" or "seasons" from us. Those days are done. Instead look forward to more one off items like the tee shirt above.

The only place you can get this tee is at the Winner's Circle and there's only 6 for now.

Thanks for your support.
