WTF?

Please, please, please read this story on Nahright.

Long and short:

Papoose went to go marry Remy Ma in prison (classy) and he managed to sneak in a handcuff key. He was caught. But honestly? That escape plan may seem like a good idea when you're 7 years old and the prison is made out of a big cardboard box and the guard is your friend, but in real life it seems pretty pathetic.

Wow. And you wonder why hip-hop gets no love anymore.

Papoose Tries to Break Free His New Wife Remy Ma

News of The Weird

Sonny Graham of Hilton Head, S.C., committed suicide in April after having spent 13 years with the transplanted heart of suicide victim Terry Cottle. The cellular implication is somewhat less likely, though, because Graham's widow was the same woman who was married to Cottle at the time of his suicide. [IslandPacket.com (Hilton Head), 4-5-08]

Ed* A wife so bad you pretty much have to kill yourself to escape.

Run The Road

Above: This photo is Pubs approved I'm sure

I came across this collection of all the biggest dancehall tunes out there right now.

Some of these have been running the road for a while now, but some are quite current. Granted, I'm a bit biased to the genre but I think dancehall is just crushing right now. There are so many good artists, riddims, and tunes coming out almost weekly that I can not even really keep up.

Download the compilation and see for yourself.

Conspiracy P

Prodigy (Mobb Deep) a.k.a Conspiracy P is becoming my greatest guilty pleasure at the moment. His writing is excellent and he brings up the most absurd points with such savoir faire that you almost want to believe every word he says.

Do yourself a favor and join the Conspiracy P fan club.

Skin Head Reggae

Skinhead reggae is a very often over looked sub-genre within the reggae lexicon. The catalog of artists is massive and knowing where to begin can be a bit confusing.

Luckily the folks at You And Me On A Jamboree make this seemingly massive catalog of tunes a lot easier to navigate through.

Download this mix they made and see if it doesn't make you want to strap on some braces and get your moon stomp on.

Run it.
