The story goes that an instrumental only demo tape was given to some New York dj sometime between 95-96' by these dudes calling themselves The Midnight Eez.

Fast forward to present day and that someone decided to press up a remastered version of the tape.

I have to give it a proper listen, but this might be my favorite thing I have listened to this summer.

I have been listening to the Clams Casino mixtape almost daily for the past 2 months. It's just really good music for nearly any situation. I am sure there is a group of people busy trying to "define" his sound so they can turn it into a t shirt with a new youth culture combo meal.

There aren't many of you or any of you that have yet to see this video. It's only been online for a few days, but I just wanted to point out some little factoids out.

See how being yourself pays off?

There are rappers who have been rapping longer than this kid has been alive and can't even match 1/10th of this creativity and branding style.

There is no better branding in the world than showing people you do not care to get something in return.

We live in the age of the ego. Buy this, follow that, check out this, download this, it's overwhelming.

I never thought I would be a day where a 19 year old kid would not annoy the living fuck out of me or let alone inspire me.

Is Odd Future going to take over? Don't know, don't care. I think only two of them are worth a shit, the others compromise what I call the "U-God" members.

Just glad to see people being creative and being honest.

If you stop trying to make a fucking buck off everyone all the time you will get paid in respect and that is something you can NEVER buy.
