Last year I brought Baby Zeus to this.

That was actually not a bad move.

After he played in water all day I had to take him home because he was getting pretty tuckered out.

Had I not done that I probably would have ended up in jail or gotten shot.

I've seen a lot of parties in my life, but these Seattle motherfuckers just take it to another level.

If you're an avid reader of SDTW then you already know about my son Lenox a.k.a Baby Zeus. He is a legend amongst the crew here in Seattle, but now the whole world wide web is going to have to deal with him as he just got accepted on minihipster.com.

The Minihipster is a street fashion blog for kids they deem "cool" or "hip" with correspondents in New York, London, Barcelona, and Melbourne.

A little bonus history on the origins of "Baby Zeus" if you're not in the know.

JR of the dubious Winner's Cirle and I were sitting in The Circle where I was telling him how Lenox had ripped the screen off my laptop the night before. He tore it clean off like Lou Ferigno on coke. JR was having trouble remembering Lenox's name for whatever reason.

His first stab at trying to remember was "Zeus." I stared at him to make sure he was serious and I couldn't believe that he thought I would name my son Zeus. As far as I could tell he was dead serious and from there on it was Baby Zeus although Little L, General Lenisimo, and Lenaisance Man are all acceptable substitutes.

New Heavy Manners Tee Available

It's been a long time since we dropped some new product. The last being the
"About Fucking Time" tee for Street Machine.

Anyone on the other side of the counter or cloth can tell you why.

Money.

Unfortunately money does make the world go round and when you no one has any of it companies, businesses, brands, and shops start to fade away. Don't be surprised to see a lot of stores and brands drop off the face of the planet in the next coming months.

Personally, I'm glad in some ways. The saturation in our particular industry is ridiculous and it is time for Darwin's Law to take effect. Heavy Manners is nothing more than a glorified hobby for myself and my partner. Don't expect any "collections" or "seasons" from us. Those days are done. Instead look forward to more one off items like the tee shirt above.
