Just watched this last night.
Based on Phillip K. Dick's novel:
"Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?"
I actually read the book before seeing "Blade Runner". Hardly, the case for most folks, but both are great and have a lot of good "big brother" concepts that are downright spooky knowing that the book was originally published in 1968.
Ed* Also worth noting is the amazing acting of one Rutger Hauer whom you may recognize from a little film called:
Yeah "Blind Fury" is sort of the penultimate "blind" ninja movie. Prove me wrong.
