Graffiti Writers Are Cunts



Here is the first design of a new project that I am working on at the moment.

The design is courtesy of my good friend Nick McPherson

This tag line does an excellent job of summing up my (personal) sentiments on graffiti "culture". I love graffiti more than any other medium I have been involved with, but the actual culture that comes with graffiti is complete shit.

My hope is that my new project including the large list of talented people I am hoping to have involved with it will help it carve out a niche in graffiti media that I have yet seen to be made.

The world is a small place. I went to SD a few weeks back and bumped into this Aussie dude when we were filming the BunnyKitty wall and he said he wrote Vans/Omega.

I got around to checking his flicks yesterday.

I chopped some of the flicks above because they were too long, but there is still so much detail in each piece I don't think it matters much.

DJ Unite "Fistful Of Dollars" Dancehall Mixtape



I've been lagging on posting this, but that's because I've been busy listening to it.

The best part of this mix is that it has an actual theme. You can pop it in and listen to it front to back or just skip to any of the heaters if you're in a hurry.

Unite sprinkles plenty of good samples from all the classic Clint Eastwood "Man With No Name" flicks and it works well with all the songs since they all seem to be about money.

Also if you don't obsessively follow dancehall there are a couple of artists that you need check on here like: Konshens, Laden, and Erup.

And even though the tune is a bit old Vybz Kartel "Mi Talk With Gunshot" is a beast of a tune.

As usual check for big dubplates because that is how real soundboys do.

Basically the RZA finally just returned to what made people like Wu Tang in the first place and just made an album with kung fu samples, basic drums and a whole bunch of 90's rappers all rolled into one.

Michael Jackson RIP



I swear on my life I tried my hardest to not post anything about Jacko, but c'mon.
